This part of Mauritius feels completely different from the coast. Think winding roads, lush vegetation and spectacular scenery. Stop at Chamarel Waterfall before visiting the famous Seven Coloured Earth, where naturally occurring sand dunes appear in different shades.

Next, make your way towards Black River Gorges National Park. Allow time for spontaneous stops because some of the views along this part of the journey are just as impressive as the planned attractions.
